Painting again

Reembarking on my creative journey after a considerable hiatus has been exhilarating and transformative. With this return to a painting practice, I find myself reacquainting with old friends—paintbrushes, wedges, and pens —and with them rediscovering the language of colors and forms that once flowed effortlessly. The passage of time has woven a tapestry of experiences, adding depth and perspective to my art. As I brush away the dust of the interim years, I'm reminded of the intrinsic joy that painting brings—a visceral connection to emotions and stories waiting to be unveiled. This resurgence fuels a newfound passion, a creative force that infuses every stroke. This is more than just resuming an old practice —it's embracing a part of myself that has patiently awaited this rekindling.

Come Say Hi - Sept 9, 2023

Attending an art show is akin to immersing oneself in a concert. Much like a symphony of melodies, an art show resonates with an array of visual stories waiting to be explored. The primary motive isn't about acquiring artwork—it's about engaging with the artist's vision, delving into their creative narrative, and forging a connection. Just as music brings together diverse souls under a shared harmony, an art show gathers individuals from different walks of life, all united by their appreciation for creativity. It's a moment to be enveloped by the ambiance of expression, to marvel at the strokes and hues that reflect the artist's soul, and to engage in conversations that can transcend the artwork itself.
